Osho Punch

Nobody ever in the history dared to speak so boldly as Osho(a.k.a. Bhagwan Rajneesh). Seems as though he is defining a new what really Gut means. In one of his discourse on Kahlil Gibran’s Prophet (published in Print by title: The Messiah, in two volumes), Osho speaks chillies on religions.

I have been looking into all the scriptures of all the religion-they are all obscene. Still, no government dares to ban them. And they ask that my people should not behave in any obscene way. First take care of your own house. First clean your own mind, and if you cannot do it, I am here and my people are here. Come here, we do dry brain washing! Just one thing is needed-that you should bring your brain with you. .... All the scriptures of the Hindus are obscene, and anybody who has any guts, I welcome him: I will show him what is written in his scriptures. In the Holy Bible, there are five hundred pages of absolute obscenity. And still it is the “Holy Bible”. You cannot find a more unholy book in the whole world.

Osho is a man full of contradictions. So, it must be understood that though he comments Bible as “unholy” and Hindu scriptures as obscene, he also has some good words to speak on Bible and Hindu sciptures. Call it double standard or anything! Osho bothers not. It’s just his way of painting out both good and bad about anything.
