Looking back in my life, the most significant person in my life, reading whose books made me as I am today, is OSHO. This blog, dedicated to Osho with love, is a way to share the life and experience I live daily with others.
So... beginning to write a few lines about me, I must admit that I know very less about me. All things that I know about myself are mostly superficial. I am called so and so.. I learned this, had an xyz education etc. All these things matter less to me, and what matters me more is knowing who I am as a human, or as a living being or as a matter existing in the universe.
I called myself in various names in various times of my life. Some call it a pen name but I didnt write so much assuming all those names. For me, identifying myself with various names is a way to understand my own inner nature. I identified and signed myself GmNiMoPraSha at very early of my life meaning that I am a composite of five friends who were very close to me. Later I called myself, duhur, deshivani, siddhartha, shiva, shakthi etc. each symbolized what I valued most in my life.
I am not an unusual man. On a superficial level, I live the life the same as everyone else: eat, work, love, fight, envy, lie.... But the only difference, I make in my life is that, I am trying to be aware of 'love' when I love, 'lie' when I lie, 'envy' when I feel envy.
I read a lot of books (or at least am buying them to read). My interests are reading classic literature of the Western and the Eastern, Dickens, Hesse, Literary criticism, especially Structuralism, Deconstruction, Narratology; I love to listen to music of genres: Ambient, New Age, World, Instrumental, Classics. Music is a part of my life, "my solitary reaper".
I do a decent programming on php, js, jquery, apart from my interest in literature and music. I partly make my living from my business, Open Drops, that specialise in custom Drupal development.
